A Recap

A great excuse to go out to celebrate, catch a movie and eat alot. EXAMS ARE OVER!!!...so we caught a movie. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has some really nice CG and pyrotechnics man! Oh and the sound system... man... this is just one of those movies where you GOTTA be there at the theatre! (unless you have a HD projector with 7.1 surround sound and a few hundred watts amp)

Oh yea... I'm glad I read Uncle Edna's latest post just last night so that I can crash that outing. Some others did too... haha.

So a nice pretty little ending to a small mid years exams which I totally didn't start preparing for till the weekend just before the exams, in which the following days I still played a bit here and there and watch a movie or two on my com during the weekends. How nice...

There surprisingly are advantages and disadvantages to being so slack during exams. Firstly, well, I know that I certainly could have done better. That is good and bad in itself, since if I score high, I'll know that I can do even better for the finals, and if I did badly, well, then some regret there. This attitude basically should help me bring to light which subjects I really do need to brush up on, and which I can sacrifice a bit. Not to mention that being a bit slack preserves sanity. To be honest, the IB doesn't care whether you scored a 95% or a 78%. They are equal in his eyes. "its" I mean... My ideal aim of course is to sacrifice some of my stronger subjects for my weaker during the finals such that my overall IB points is higher.

So now its time to sit back and let the results come in (for lit especially, it's as good as the lottery). Of course... there are other things to do, but lemme just enjoy the carefree moment for a while now. I know what looms ahead.

It's just so difficult to move from one mindset to another. It's like fighting a whole hour to defeat a huge powerful boss monster, progress to the next stage, and start fighting smaller, slightly weaker, but many...many... many... monsters. In fact, as I was sharing with another friend, the exams seem to be less stressful than day-to-day school life.
